Brad Cramer's nasty shovel

Check these out...

Landstrom foundry. Some of you may have seen these before. I thought chopper Dave was the only one who cast these but apparently not. Lyle Landstrom does and this is just some of what he does.

MeanStreak sent in pics of his bikes. Check out the '76 ironhead. He gave it to his son with the conditions that he can never cut it, sell it or swap it. To be passed down.
those are the exact conditions I gave my son for the '50.....likeminded

Here's something I never thought would happen. Lucky enough to get one pan let alone two.

My huge disappointment ...

I traded my. 40 xdm for an inline springer sight unseen. Needless to say that will never happen again. It was a total wreck,  front and rear legs were damaged. Plus most if the parts were missing or incorrect.
I tried to make the best of it tho. The rear legs I had a machine shop dual rib the tops and they fucked them all up. What part of "for looks, it has to be even and perfect" did they not understand?  Not sure yet if I'm gonna work with them more or not. I like the dual rib idea, just don't know how bad its gonna look installed.

How many chops have been inspired by David Mann

More to come...

Everyone has there favorites,  knuckles, pans, shovels and flatties. I like'em all but I have to say the genny shovel is probably my favorite, ascetically.
But to kinda contradict myself, I'm alittle torn between them and pans. There's something alittle more primal about them. Idealistic choppers. Hell, I want them all......

My new '51...

This is what I traded my '69 shovel for. Got it it from Keith, I've mentioned him and some of his stuff in here before. He's a good person, a good friend and wants to pass on some of his goodies to the younger generation to enjoy. Matter of fact, Duane and I wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for him. For that we're grateful. Ill post some more as I have time.
